Half-Day Program
Scenic Transfer (Approx. 1.5 Hours)
Drive through a beautiful rural area, enjoying scenic views of mountain rivers, rice fields, corn fields, and banana plantations along the way.
Arrival & Introduction (Approx. 45 Minutes)
Arrive at Living Green Elephant Sanctuary. Receive a briefing about the sanctuary’s ethical practices and change into traditional northern Thai clothing.
Elephant Experience (Approx. 1 Hour 15 Minutes)
Meet the elephants in their natural habitat. Feed and interact with them while learning about their history and behavior.
River Walk & Elephant Bathing (Approx. 30 Minutes)
Walk with the elephants to the river and assist with bathing them. This activity depends on weather conditions and the elephants’ willingness—no activity will be forced.
Elephant Health Check (Approx. 20 Minutes)
Participate in a basic health check activity and learn more about elephant care and well-being.
Lunch & Farewell (Approx. 50 Minutes)
Enjoy a delicious local meal before saying goodbye to the elephants.
Return Transfer (Approx. 1.5 Hours)
Leave the sanctuary and enjoy a comfortable ride back to Chiang Mai. Arrival at your hotel is approximately between 02:00 – 02:30 PM.

Start your day with a convenient hotel pick-up in Chiang Mai, followed by a scenic journey through the countryside. Along the way, enjoy views of mountain rivers, rice fields, corn plantations, and banana groves—offering a glimpse into the peaceful rural lifestyle of northern Thailand.

Upon arrival at Living Green Elephant Sanctuary, you will receive an introduction to the sanctuary’s ethical approach to elephant care and change into traditional northern Thai clothing.

Return to the Sanctuary (Approx. 15 Minutes)
Head back to the elephant sanctuary to continue your experience.
