Morning – Elephant Feeding & Forest Walk
Begin your morning by meeting the elephants and their caretakers in a natural setting. Learn about their daily routines, feeding habits, and individual personalities, along with how to interact with them respectfully and safely.
Help prepare food for the elephants and enjoy feeding them before setting off on a forest walk. Walk alongside the elephants and their caretakers at the animals' own pace, observing as they explore their surroundings, forage for food, and interact with one another.
Along the way, discover more about elephant behaviour by watching how they use their trunks to gather food, investigate plants, and communicate. This experience offers an opportunity to observe the elephants in a natural environment while learning about their daily lives and individual characteristics.
Note: Elephant Activities. All elephant interactions are conducted without riding or performances. Activities follow the elephants' natural pace and behaviour, which may vary throughout the experience.
Afternoon – Traditional Rice Farming Experience
In the afternoon, discover the rural traditions of northern Thailand through a hands-on rice farming experience. Visit the rice fields and learn about traditional cultivation methods, from preparing the land and planting seedlings to caring for the crops and harvesting rice.
With guidance from local farmers, take part in farming activities suited to the season and field conditions. These may include planting rice seedlings, learning traditional plowing techniques, feeding buffaloes, or participating in rice harvesting when the crops are ready.
Get ready to step into the muddy fields and experience the work involved in traditional Thai rice farming. Along the way, learn about the importance of rice in Thai culture, local agriculture, and everyday rural life.
