Explore the colorful Lanna-style architecture, beautiful temple buildings, detailed decorations, and peaceful temple grounds. This is a great place for photos and a relaxing cultural stop before heading to the waterfall. Arrive at Sticky Waterfall, also known as Bua Tong Waterfall. Enjoy climbing up and down the famous limestone waterfall, which has four natural levels and is approximately 160 meters high. The rocks are naturally grippy, making it easier to climb compared to regular waterfalls. Ropes are also installed along the route for extra support. Relax in the fresh natural surroundings, enjoy the crystal-blue water, creamy white limestone rocks, and lush green forest. This is one of the must-visit nature landmarks in Chiang Mai. Enjoy a local Thai lunch served inside the park. The meal includes seasonal fruits and drinking water. After lunch, take a short walk to Nam Phu Chet Si, also known as the Seven-Color Fountain. This natural spring is the source of Bua Tong Waterfall and has been flowing for more than 200 years. Surrounded by peaceful forest, it is a beautiful spot for a short nature walk, photos, and quiet relaxation. Continue to nearby Bua Tong Cave, a large limestone cave connected to a local legend about two princesses and their servants who took refuge there after a great war. Enjoy a short walk and photo time inside the impressive limestone chamber before returning to Chiang Mai. Depart from the park and travel back to Chiang Mai. Drop-off at your hotel is usually between 03:30–03:50 PM, depending on traffic and hotel location.
