Itinerary
Day 1: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai – Chiang Khong – Huay Xai
09:00–09:30 AM Pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city by air-conditioned van
Stop at Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) – Entrance ticket and lunch not included
14:00–14:30 PM – Continue to Chiang Khong, drop-off at our office (500 meters before the border)
16:00 PM – Arrival at our office near the Chiang Khong border. Our team will assist you with visa documents and border procedures
Note: Travelers with eVisa are still required to pass immigration together as a group. A Laos tourist tax of approximately 70–100 THB applies
17:00 PM – After entering Laos, our local team will transfer you to your hotel in Huay Xai for an overnight stay before the boat journey the next day
Day 2: Huay Xai – Mekong River – Luang Prabang
06:40–07:10 AM – Hotel pick-up and transfer to the boat pier
08:00 AM – Board the slow boat to Luang Prabang for a peaceful 7-hour cruise along the Mekong River
Enjoy scenic views, local river life, and lush natural landscapes along the way
Stop at Pak Ou Caves – Approximately 40 minutes to explore the sacred limestone caves filled with thousands of Buddha images

- Visa & Arrival Card (Laos – Land Border): Even with a Laos e-Visa, travelers entering via Friendship Bridge 4 must complete the paper arrival card at the Lao border. Online arrival forms apply to air arrivals only.
- Laos tourist tax (approximately 70–100 THB; applies to e-visa and visa exemption holders; payable directly at Laos border control)
- Infants (0–2 years old): Free of charge, but a 1,200 THB administrative fee per infant applies. Payable to the local guide on departure day for documentation and insurance.

- Refunds will be made via cash or bank transfer. Any bank fee that occurs will be deducted from the refund amount.
- No refund for no-shows and last-minute cancellations for all reasons to maintain our competitive price as your seats cannot be resold.
