Karen Hill Tribe Elephant Sanctuary is a well-known elephant sanctuary located in northern Thailand. It provides a home for elephants rescued from exploitative situations, such as logging or tourism industries, where they may have been mistreated. The sanctuary aims to provide a natural environment for the elephants to live freely, without chains or performing tricks, and allows visitors to observe and interact with them in a responsible and ethical manner.
