Program Details
05:00–05:30 AM: Hotel pickup in Chiang Rai.
Location: Complimentary hotel pick-up from Chiang Rai city center
Once your hotel name and address are confirmed, exact pickup time will be shared via email.
07:00 AM: Arrive at Thai border (Chiang Khong), prepare travel documents.
07:30 AM: Shuttle across Friendship Bridge No. 4.
08:00 AM: Process visa-on-arrival at Lao border.
09:00 AM: Local bus to Huay Xai Bus Station.
10:00 AM: Scenic van journey to Na Toei Train Station (with lunch stop).
04:00 PM: Arrive at station, rest or explore nearby.
06:00 PM: Board train to Luang Prabang.
08:00 PM: Arrive at Luang Prabang Railway Station – tour ends.
Local Transfer
Shared Air-conditioned van to the city center are available at the station for approx. $3.

- Laos Visa fee (THB 1,800 - 2,000 or $40 – cash only, new bills required).
- Visa photo .
- Meals & drinks.
- A tourist tax of approximately THB 70–100 applies. E-visa and visa exemption holders must pay this fee directly at the Laos border control.
