Hotel Pickup & Transfer Pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Rai between 05:00 – 05:30 AM by air-conditioned van (shared transfer to the Laos border). Border Crossing Arrive at Chiang Khong border and cross into Laos. Our guide will assist and welcome you at Houay Xai immigration around 07:30 AM. For guests already in Houay Xai, hotel pick-up is available between 09:00 – 09:30 AM. 10.00 am : Mekong Cruise Begins Board the slow boat and begin your journey along the Mekong River. Onboard Experience Cultural Stop Visit a local hill tribe village to observe traditional lifestyles and community life. Arrival in Pak Beng Arrive around 04:30 – 05:00 PM at the peaceful riverside town of Pak Beng. Enjoy your evening at leisure. (Accommodation can be arranged or booked independently.) Remark : The van transfer from Chiang Rai to Huay Xai will be shared with other guests traveling to Chiang khong Boarder. If you prefer a private transfer, please choose the private option.
Morning Departure Depart from Pak Beng pier at 08:00 AM for another scenic cruise. Scenic Highlights Admire lush mountains, river landscapes, and glimpses of local life along the Mekong. Onboard Lunch Freshly prepared Lao lunch served onboard. Cultural Visits Arrival in Luang Prabang Arrive around 04:30 – 05:00 PM (depending on river conditions). Cancellation Policy:
- For transport or admission tickets, booking is required at least 3 days in advance to secure availability.
- For tours, please book at least 2 days in advance. For bookings made within 1 day of the travel date, please contact us first to confirm availability.
- A passport copy is required for train tickets and special-event tickets. Please email it to us after booking.
- Train tickets, admission tickets, and special-event tickets, including Loy Krathong tickets, are non-refundable once purchased.
- Tour cancellations made at least 2 days before the travel date are eligible for a full refund, less any non-refundable payment processing, bank, or transaction fees.
- Tour cancellations made less than 2 days before the travel date and no-shows are non-refundable.
- Payment processing fees, credit card fees, payment gateway fees, bank charges, and other transaction fees are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible. If this is not possible, an alternative refund method will be arranged.
- In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather, unsafe conditions, or cancellation by our business partner(s), we reserve the right to cancel or modify the tour. If the tour is cancelled by us, guests will be offered a refund or an alternative arrangement, as applicable.
