Your journey starts with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Chiang Rai, followed by a crossing of the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge. Embark on a traditional Lao boat, visiting remote villages and immersing yourself in local culture. Spend the night in Pakbeng, then continue your journey the next day with a visit to Ban Muang village, famous for its Lao whisky, and a tour of the Pak Ou Caves. Conclude your trip by arriving in the historic city of Luang Prabang.

This Tour Start From Chiang Rai

Day 1: Chiang Rai - Huay Xai - Pakbeng

05:00-05:30 am: Pick up by Air-conditioned van.
07:30 : Arrive at Chiang Khong Boarder
08.00: Meet our English speaking team with welcome sign and to get the bus across Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge No. 4 (fee included).
09:00-09:30 am:Transfer to the pier.
Morning: Arrive at Pak Tha for a boat permission checkpoint. Do’s and Don’ts in Laos and fun facts will be presented by our guide.
Lunch on the boat (Lao traditional meal).
Afternoon: Visit a traditional Kamu village (Banking Law), a tiny cozy place that hosts about 70 families. Travelers will learn about rural lifestyles in a very remote area, then continue to Pakbeng.
Overnight in Pakbeng (hotel not included).

Remark : The Air-conditioned van transfer from Chiang Rai to Huay Xai will be shared with other guests traveling to Chiang khong Boarder.

Day 2: Pakbeng - Luang Prabang

08:00 am: Depart from Pakbeng.
Morning: Guide demonstrates local handicrafts. Prepare Lao desserts and drinks.
Lunch on the boat (Lao traditional meal).
Afternoon: Visit Ban Muang village, famous for Lao whiskey. Visit Pak Ou Caves with over 2,000 Buddha statues.
Enjoy homemade desserts and drinks.
04:30-05:00 pm: Arrive in Luang Prabang.

Remark : From November to February,it can get cold during the cruise,do not forget to bring a jacket.

Laos Visa fee: 1,800 -2,000 THB or $40 USD (cash only) If you use USD, the bills must be in perfect condition — not torn, dirty, or old. Only new bills are accepted.

A tourist tax of approximately THB 70–100 applies. E-visa and visa exemption holders must pay this fee directly at the Laos border control.
