Meet at Pantip Plaza Chiang Mai for check-in and transfer to the festival venue. Transfers may depart in rounds between 14:30 and 16:30, depending on event arrangements and traffic conditions. After arriving at the venue, guests can join the festival activities and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Festival activities begin with hands-on DIY workshops and local handicraft activities inspired by Northern Thai culture. Guests can learn about traditional crafts, create small handmade souvenirs, and enjoy activities that reflect the event’s cultural and sustainable concept.

Experience the charm of Lanna culture through local dance shows and cultural performances inspired by Northern Thai traditions and hill tribe heritage. The event area is designed with a warm Kad Mua-style local market atmosphere, where guests can enjoy cultural displays, local flavours, and a festive setting.

06:00 PM | Dinner

Enjoy Thai food and local-style dishes at the event venue. This is a good time to relax, explore the festival area, take photos, and enjoy the evening atmosphere before the main ceremony begins.

07:30 PM | Move to the Main Arena

Guests will move to the Main Arena for the highlight of the evening. The atmosphere becomes even more magical as everyone gathers for the ceremony and sky lantern release.

08:00 – 09:00 PM | Buddhist Rituals & Sky Lantern Release

Take part in a meaningful evening of Buddhist rituals, Lanna cultural traditions, and the ceremonial release of sky lanterns. Each lantern symbolises peace, good luck, blessings, and new beginnings, creating one of the most unforgettable moments of the Chiang Mai Yi Peng and Loy Krathong Festival.

The Premium Zone is located in the front area of the Main Stadium, offering an upgraded festival experience with enhanced comfort and a wider selection of food options.

From this well-positioned area, you can enjoy the cultural performances and take part in the sky lantern release close to the heart of the ceremony. As the lanterns rise into the night sky, it feels as if you are warmly surrounded by thousands of glowing lanterns, creating a truly memorable Loy Krathong and Yi Peng evening in Chiang Mai.

The VIP Zone is located in the middle area of the Main Stadium, offering an upgraded festival experience with a comfortable view of the cultural performances and sky lantern release. Guests can enjoy festival food, event activities, cultural shows, and the lantern ceremony from a well-positioned viewing area, making this a more refined way to experience Loy Krathong and Yi Peng in Chiang Mai.

The Standard Zone is located in the rear area of the Main Stadium, while still allowing guests to fully enjoy the festival atmosphere. Guests can enjoy festival food, take part in event activities, watch cultural performances, and join the sky lantern release ceremony, creating beautiful memories of Loy Krathong and Yi Peng in Chiang Mai that will last a lifetime.
