02:00 | Departure & Transfer

Meet at the designated parking area in front of Go Wholesale @ Central Chiang Mai Airport for your transfer to the Amazing Lanna Sky Lantern Festival at Nong Sariam (approximately 1 hour).

Please note: Shuttle service operates between 2:00–4:30 PM. Your exact arrival time may vary depending on your selected departure. For the best experience, we highly recommend arriving early and taking an earlier shuttle to avoid crowds and enjoy more time at the festival.

3:00 PM | Arrival & Registration

Upon arrival at the festival venue, proceed to the registration area to check in and receive your event bag and souvenirs. Guests who arrange their own transportation may also check in directly at this point.

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Cultural Activities & Local Experiences

After check-in, begin exploring a variety of traditional Lanna cultural activities. Try hands-on experiences such as krathong making, candle lighting, and crafting traditional tungsai flags. Enjoy captivating performances throughout the venue, including traditional dance parades by both children and local elders.

A special highlight during this time includes water-based shows such as canoe demonstrations, a scenic boat parade, and a lively youth rowing competition (approximately 4:00 – 4:45 PM). You can also explore local stalls offering delicious food, unique handicrafts, souvenirs, and community-made products.

6:00 PM | Loy Krathong & Lantern Collection

As evening approaches, participate in the traditional Loy Krathong ceremony by floating your krathong. At this time, guests will also receive their lanterns:

• Standard Ticket: 3 sky lanterns per person
• VIP Ticket: 5 sky lanterns per set (prepared at your seating area)

7:30 PM | Grand Lantern Release & Fireworks

Gather at the main stage for the highlight of the evening. Enjoy a vibrant cultural parade before joining the unforgettable moment of releasing thousands of lanterns into the night sky.

The celebration continues with a spectacular fireworks display, creating one of the most magical experiences in Chiang Mai.

9:00 PM | Return to Meeting Point
